Letisha Gordon: Women Make Music

Producer and lyricist Shunaji has been releasing original music since May 2018, with her debut “Midnight Movie”, having only began making music in 2017. In April 2019, she released ‘Nighthawks’, the first single off her upcoming EP ‘Blue Melon’. She’s inspired by electronic, trip hop and abstract hip hop, using samples as vehicles to generate genre bending tracks. In September 2018, she became part of the Roundhouse Resident Artist cohort for 2018-2019. Shunaji has performed alongside likes of hip hop pioneer Bahamadia, international collective GRRRL and Paul White, while also joining artistic peers such as Brother Portrait and Lady Sanity on London stages.

Women Make Music fund will help Shunaji in the launch of her Blue Melon EP in the form of a listening party as well as through the promotion of her new release.
