Only Girl: Women Make Music

Only Girl is South East Londoner Ellen Murphy; creating her own brand of soulful, understated pop, soaring with R&B infused melodies, since her 2014 debut Feel It.

After much tastemaker blog coverage, her second single Remains premiered on The Fadar in July 2015, followed by a second sold out show at St Pancras Old Church, London.
Remains picked up strong radio support from the likes of Huw Stephens’ Radio 1 & BBC6 Music‘s Lauren Laverne and she was invited to record live sessions with Dermot O Leary on Radio 2 & Sofar Sounds. Earlier this year, long term collaborators Zero 7 released their second track featuring the vocals of Only Girl as part of their EP 3 release.

Ellen is currently working on her debut EP Young Blood, with the Women Make Music fund providing vital funding support towards the recording and marketing of the release, set for early 2016.
