John Grant In Conversation with Amy Lamé

John Grant In Conversation with Amy Lamé

7pm on Tuesday 29th September

This interview is the latest in the series of CPWM’s ‘LGBTQ The Music’ activities, kindly supported by PRS Foundation. These events provide support, advice and positive role models to LGBTQIA+ people seeking careers in music.

As someone that we have long admired and who has never shied away from openly discussing some of the challenges he has faced in life, we’re ridiculously excited that John has agreed to give us some of his time.

“A gay man from small-town America, John Grant has weathered religious condemnation and parental disapproval, followed by drugs, alcohol and sex addiction and an HIV-positive diagnosis.” Will Hodgkinson, The Times 25 May 2019

John will be in conversation with Amy Lamé, London Night Czar, BBC6 Music DJ and cofounder of the legendary Duckie club in Vauxhall.
