Dundee Contemporary Arts

Dundee Contemporary Arts promotes the development and exhibition of contemporary art and culture. They do this through providing opportunities for artists to create, and for audiences to engage with an active, varied and high-quality cultural life for the people of Dundee, Scotland and beyond. As an organisation it has established itself as a major force in contemporary art, cultural cinema, community, education practice and as a vibrant social and cultural hub.

Fielding Hope

Fielding Hope is a live music and arts programmer and promoter based in Glasgow, Scotland. He has been organising events in Glasgow since Febuary 2005. Alongside being the creative director of Cry Parrot – his central programming and promotion project – Fielding has assisted the creative programming of Glasgow Festival of DIY Culture 2009 and Doune The Rabbit Hole Festival 2011, as well as collaborated with the likes of Glasgow Film Festival, GI Festival, MADE Festival (Sweden) and Counterflows Festival 2012. He has also co-founded Music Language Festival – a two day Glasgow-based multi-venue festival celebrating the creativity and diversity of the Scottish underground music scene.

Fielding’s main interest is to promote music that can be considered critical, left-field, avante-garde and thought-provoking. He has promoted shows for a diverse selection of local and international independent acts. While his central focus is promoting music events, he has also produced both cross-over and experimental events involving film, visuals and visual art installations.

Fielding currently works as the Music Programme Manager for independent live music venue Nice N Sleazy. He also works as a DJ in various venues in Glasgow.
