POWER UP Partners

Set up and managed by PRS Foundation in partnership with YouTube Music, Beggars Group and the Black Music Coalition, the initiative brings several music industry partners across all sectors together to accelerate change.

Supporters include Creative Scotland, Believe, Simkins, Arts Council of Wales, Creative Wales, Paul Hamlyn Foundation, Culture Liverpool and the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority, plus AIM, the BPI, the FAC, The Ivors Academy, the MMF, the MPA, MPG, The Musicians’ Union, PPL, PRS for Music, the PRS Members’ Fund and Believe, as well as Associate Partner, Daft Springer, who each bring added-value support to POWER UP Participants.

A wide range of support will be outlined for applicants, and the offer includes:

  • Free or discounted membership offered by some trade associations for relevant creators or industry professionals
  • Mentoring from experts within partners’ teams or networks
  • Workshop and webinar delivery
  • Access to resources and events
  • One-to-one support
  • Mental health and wellbeing support

NB: Each partner offers a different range of added-value support for relevant participants, subject to assessing participant needs at the start of each participant year
