Abattoir Blues: Momentum

Formed in 2015, their impassioned live show swiftly saw Abattoir Blues make their mark on Brighton’s fertile music scene. Following support slots alongside Wolf Alice, Merchandise, Yak and The Wytches, the band received acclaim from the likes of Guardian, NME and DIY.

Creating an intoxicating blend of post-punk and post-hardcore, Abattoir Blues have expertly channelled the passion and intensity of their performances into their recorded output, crowned by recent debut single ‘Sense’. Echoing the disillusionment felt by many in the current climate and while displaying an adept social conscience, Abattoir Blues songs don’t shy away from addressing topics such as mental health, national identity, and xenophobia.

After being tipped by many publications as ones to watch in 2017, the band have further releases and more extensive tour dates lined up.
