TUSK Festival is proud to present the 6th edition of its groundbreaking diverse international showcase of out-there and genre-bending adventurous music. As part of TUSK‘s new relationship with Sage Gateshead, TUSK takes over the Norman Foster-designed building on the south banks of the Tyne for 3 days from October 14-16 and also presents a series of 3 adventurous concerts in addition to the festival weekend.

TUSK Festival has been described as “one of the finest examples of underground music culture on these islands” (The Quietus) and again features a unique line-up of music with artists this year coming from Indonesia, Argentina, Mexico, Germany, Japan, the US, the UK and elsewhere and covering all sonic directions from minimalist techno to soulful Sudanese pop, obliterating noise, raucous improv, alt-hip hop and much more. TUSK also features its renowned film programme (this year including the northern premiere of Tony Conrad: Completely In The Present), exhibitions, installations, interactions, an after-hours fringe and much more.
