K-Trap, one of the UK’s most coveted breakout rappers, is back with new 11-track mixtape project, ‘The Re-Up’.
Featuring production credits from 67 producer Carns Hill, Soundboi, Kojo Funds’ beatmaker GA and long-time collaborator Slay Productions, as well as standout features from Loski, Yxng Bane and LD, ‘The Re-Up’ is both defiant and illuminating — a tape written to capture the spirit of his life on the come up.
Already widely considered an artist to watch throughout 2018, K-Trap’s debut record, ‘The Last Whip’, topped the iTunes charts — it went straight in at #1 back in June 2017 — and videos from the project (‘David Blane’, ‘Watching’, ‘Wild Thoughts’) have racked up over 18 million views since. His first ever headline show at London’s O2 Islington Academy sold out in 48 hours back in November, while he also supported Krept and Konan at Kentish Town Forum in March.
