Mysie : POWER UP Music Creators
Raised in South London with Ugandan roots, Mysie is a multidisciplinary artist, producer, and songwriter. Her music stands out as a genre-bending, teasing audiences across Electronic, Dance and Alt Pop. From a young age, Mysie was exposed to a mosaic of music from Electronic, Dance, Pop, Rap, Hip Hop, and Indie-electronica. This breadth of influence would go on to inspire the sound that Mysie creates today.
Since 2019, Mysie has released 3 EPs to critical acclaim, been awarded an Ivor Novello “Rising Star Award” with Apple Music, featured in The Fader, Notion, Wonderland, Clash Magazine, NME, Elle Magazine, Line of Best Fit and more. She’s seen support across BBC Radio 1 (including Introducing Track of the Week), BBC 1XTRA, Apple Music One, La Radio Nova (France), whilst being tipped as “one to watch” by the likes of The Sunday Times, The Guardian, The Independent and Jamz Supanova (BBC1Xtra).
In 2023, Mysie established herself as an independent artist and started co-producing her own project. The project’s debut tracks “CTRL” and “PLAY” have been well received across social media and on DSPs, paving the way for her EP “CONTROLLA” which will be dropped this summer.
