Amanda Kiflay: POWER UP Industry Professionals
InsAmanda Kiflay, a Stockholm native, has made significant strides in the Scandinavian music industry. After graduating with a bachelor’s in Business Administration and Music Management, she joined Sony Music Publishing Scandinavia’s A&R team. At Sony, she scouted, signed, and developed talents such as Benjamin Lasnier (Megan Thee Stallion, Headie One, DaBaby), Patrick Piscot (Lil Mosey, Rod Wave), and Lukas BL (Kanye West, Gunna).
Amanda boasts an impressive track record, including 12x #1 songs (Spotify Nordics + Official Charts Sweden) and a #1 album (Official Charts UK). Her accolades also include a “Song of the Year” win at the Swedish Music Publishers Award and multiple nominations at the Danish Music Publishers Awards and the Danish and Swedish Grammys.
In 2021, Amanda was named among the Top 20 Under 30 by Nordic Music Biz, recognizing her as a future industry leader. She has served as a jury member for the Swedish Grammy and Music Publishers Awards. She has been instrumental in organising numerous international songwriting camps in Stockholm.
In 2022, Amanda relocated to London to advance her career. Committed to diversity and inclusion, she launched her company, March Eight Music, focusing on managing female and non-binary producers. She is currently developing producers like Coco (1nda Banton, Mnelia, Shae Universe,Kal Lavelle) and Simone V (Driia, Nia Chennai) and consults as Playlist Curator for Apple Music Nordics. Amanda continues to pursue a successful international career in music, driven by her passion and commitment to innovation and inclusivity in the industry.
