CassKidd is a multitalented British Caribbean broadcaster, DJ and music producer who initially started his journey in the music and radio industry behind the scenes over a decade ago.

With a career starting out at Reprezent Radio in 2013 as a broadcast assistant, he worked his way from a volunteer, producing radio behind the scenes at community, to presenting across all radio mediums, online and national level. Now he broadcasts nationally as a BBC presenter with his weekly Alternative Selection show on BBC Radio 1Xtra, which launched in 2023.

A musically inclined national broadcaster, CassKidd’s achievements as a tastemaker has seen him present across multiple BBC networks from Radio 1 (regularly covering Benji B and R1’s Chillest Show), 1Xtra’s DJ Target and Tiffany Calver, to outside broadcasts with BBC Radio 3’s flagship Jazz show, J to Z.

To date, Cass has produced every specialist show on BBC Radio 1Xtra, from David Rodigan and ARIA nominated, DJ Semtex, to launching Kenny Allstar on the network. In 2020, his achievements in radio landed him into The Radio Academy’s ARIA 30 under 30 list. A key figure in the radio industry, he has judged on boards for the Student Radio Association Awards and The Radio Academy’s ARIAs.

CassKidd hones a unique sound as a music producer, having made official remixes for the likes of Wiley, Pablo Nouvelle, Izzy Bizu, to Afro B’s chart hit Drogba (Joanna). Working on his own label Channel Alt, CassKidd truly lives and breathes music on and off air.
