Adetokunbo Oyelola: Power Up Industry Professional

Adetokunbo Oyelola

Artist Manager / Concert Promoter / TV Producer, Black Grape Global
One of the most dynamic creative entrepreneurs in the UK. His versatility on the projects that he works on makes it difficult to put him in a box.
From managing talent, organising foodie events and even producing radio shows for airlines such as British Airways.“I guess I am like a creative architect, I like to plan projects, but I also roll up my sleeves and work in the trenches, I love to build too, so call me architect, call me builder too, haha!”.
Build he does, T Oyelola has developed the careers of many artists and helped them to self-actualise. He works with a diverse roster of talent from jazz to gospel, comedy to animation. His clients have won multiple awards, appeared in press like the Guardian, London Tonight, Financial Times and BBC Breakfast to list a few and they regularly tour the world selling out venues. He was the executive producer of a Gospel TV Show broadcast on Sky.
Delivering events from concept to completion is a key part of his skill set. He has organised and promoted successful concerts, launched festivals and tours around the world, from small venues to arenas. For 3 years, he was the event producer of the Pre MOBO Awards and since 2016, he has been on the BRITs Award Voting Panel. He is a member of the British Arts Festivals Association (BAFA), the Music Managers Forum (MMF) and was selected as one of the 2021 Accelerator managers with YouTube Music.
“I am honoured to be part of the POWER UP network. Nothing beats sharing knowledge, inspiration and contacts, especially in what can sometimes be an isolated industry.” Adetokunbo Oyelola
