Andreya Triana: Momentum

Andreya is fresh from a UK top ten single with man of the moment Breach with a remix of her self-penned track ‘Everything You Never Had (We Had It All)’. Andreya quickly excited the likes of Annie Mac and Sara Cox well in advance of release which showcases her stunning vocals. She has also gained great support from Mista Jam, Zane Lowe, Toddla T, and Skream and Benga. A self-taught singer, songwriter originally hailing from South East London, Andreya Triana began singing at the age of seven taking influence from the sights and sounds of inner-city London.  As Andreya works on her second album, a new track ‘Song For A Friend’ was released to give fans a taste of what to expect from her evolving sound and direction. There is plenty more to come from this rising star in 2014.

Andreya will be using her Momentum funding to record songs for her next album release.

Andreya told us:

“I can’t thank the Momentum Music Fund enough for my award. This has come at a crucial time and the funds from the award are going to make a huge difference. In an industry where you have to work incredibly hard and at times make your own luck the Momentum Music Fund has played a pivotal role in supporting my creativity and career. It will help in moving things forward and hopefully taking things to a new level. I’m incredibly excited about beginning work on my new album and about the future, so thank you!”
