Snowpoet 2018 Spring tour celebrating music from their second album: Beyond Borders

Snowpoet is a group formed by award-winning Irish vocalist Lauren Kinsella and British multi-instrumentalist Chris Hyson. The group includes Joshua Arcoleo on tenor saxophone, Matthew Robinson on piano, Nick Costley-White on guitar and Dave Hamblett on drums.

Their music has been described as

“an ethereal, psychedelic, and magical combination of lyrical, nature inspired poetry and modern innovative folk music. There are elements of Joanna Newsom and Bon Iver to be found here but Snowpoet’s sound remains distinctively theirs” (Alfred Archer Folk Radio UK)

Following their acclaimed debut album, Snowpoet, supported by PRS Foundation’s Beyond boarders will embark on an ambitious tour next Spring. Throughout March – May 2018, they will perform throughout the UK and Ireland celebrating music from their second album with Edition Records. The tour will culminate in their London album launch at Kings Place on May 10th 2018.

With over 80,000 Soundcloud plays and 60,000 Spotify plays, Snowpoet’s growing fan base is a testament to the music’s originality and accessibility.

They regularly feature on BBC Radio 6 and Radio and on major radio stations worldwide including Sweden, Austria, Germany and Ireland.
