St. Stephens Church: a new 200 cap venue for Ipswich
Brighten The Corners is an Ipswich based promoter and venue operator which oversees three live music venues and an annual multi-venue festival. We have recently renovated St Stephens, a formerly disused town centre church, which has become a vital 200 cap venue, arts centre and cafe/bar. This space exists alongside The Smokehouse, the intimate 70 cap venue key to the grassroots local and emerging touring scene and the 300 cap Baths venue which offers a larger club style environment for established touring artists.
This funding will enable us to launch St Stephens Church with a series of high quality events to showcase the space to audiences, artists and promoters from the area and further afield, continuing to establish Ipswich as a touring destination for artists and music creators.
