CVC 2

CVC are currently in the studio putting the finishing touches to their pivotal second album.
Recording with legendary producer Chris Hughes at his studio down near Bath, the new music will showcase an exciting new direction for the band. The recording has overran (as ever!) and the award will be spent affording us this extra time to get the record right.
The record will also be mixed by Chris and his engineer Mark, having world class production cannot be underestimated for this or any band.
We will also be using any funds left to help film and document the process, providing assets to market the new record.

CVC, or Church Village Collective in full, named their band after the sleepy Welsh town they come from. The 6-piece musical collective are comprised of singer Francesco Orsi, bassist Ben Thorne, drummer Tom Fry, keyboardist Daniel ‘Nanial’ Jones &singing guitarists David Bassey &Elliot Bradfield.
2023 was a crazy year for CVC following the January release of their acclaimed self produced debut album ‘Get Real.’
Rough Trade shops made it their album of the month, 6 Music playlists and sessions followed and a Welsh Music Prize nomination was garnered.
The band built an enviable live reputation and travelled the globe, Bonnaroo in the USA and opening for Foo Fighters at ACl were two major International highlights.
Buzzy tours in the UK culminated in huge celebration at a sold out Cardiff’s Tramshed just before Xmas, a dream for the band fully realised.
