Emily Breeze: Women Make Music
Bristolian pop noir artist Emily Breeze’s distinct brand of dark humour and degraded glamour saw national recognition in 2022 when singles “Confessions Of An Ageing Party Girl” and “Ordinary Life” were championed by BBC Radio 6. Album Rapture saw a sold out Bristol album launch and a UK tour, support slots for James, Sleaford Mods and a performance on Radio 4’s Loose Ends and a remix from Daddy G (Massive Attack). Emily has been described as “The UK’s 21st century answer to Patti Smith (Tom Robinson) and “Brilliant, crammed full of heart, gags and big ideas” (Clash Magazine).
Emily Breeze – E.P Release and Tour
Emily will use her women make music grant to record, promote and tour her upcoming E.P. Working with her fabulous band and producer Stew Jackson (Massive Attack), this release is a follow up to 2023’s album Rapture and features a collection of songs which illustrate the cosmic life cycle of a relationship, an anti productivity anthem inspired by the Beat writers and a gritty depiction of teenage rituals in the 90’s which will be supported by two single releases, videos and a UK tour.
