Emmavie: Power Up Music Creator

Emmavie

R&B/Soul
Listed as one of BET’s Rising Black Artists To Watch in 2022, Emmavie is a triple threat singer, songwriter and producer from London with credits sprawled across the globe collaborating with the likes of Kojey Radical, Phonte, Alfa Mist and Ego Ella May. She has firmly cemented her signature sultry sound and become many artist and producer’s “go to” for both her voice and her music production.

In 2021, leading up to the release of her PPL Momentum Fund supported self-produced EP, ‘What’s A Diamond To A Baby’, Emmavie became a Converse All Star, with the brand inviting her to perform and be interviewed for Converse’s ‘Do You’ Pride campaign. Later in the year, she had two sold-out headline shows and a sold-out party to celebrate the release of the EP.

Following the release of her debut album in 2019, Emmavie’s music has jumped onto the screen in a big way with her songs recently being placed on the critically acclaimed “I May Destroy You”, Michaela Coel’s newest HBO/BBC series; Tyler Perry’s “Sistas” on BET; Oprah Winfrey’s network produced series, “Queen Sugar” and MTV’s “Teen Mom US 2”.

Emmavie’s high profile performances have seen her share the stage with Mahalia, Eric Bellinger, Smino, Iman Omari, and The Internet front-woman, Syd for Red Bull Music Academy’s Paths Unknown. Emmavie has also supported fellow Playlist Retreat alumni, Masego and Moonchild on their European tours.

“I am honoured to be a POWER UP participant and excited to be a part of the network. I look forward to the guidance from industry professionals and my peers.” Emmavie
