Forest Swords: Momentum
The Momentum project will support the recording and marketing of Forest Swords’ third album. Over his career so far, the artist has achieved remarkable success for the style of experimental electronic music that he makes, and Momentum will allow him to expand his practice.
This will include work with musicians and collaborators in a proper studio environment and to create a project which is bigger in scale and ambition than his releases to date, and correspondingly aiming to reach a wider audience through increased press and radio, online content, marketing and live activity. The album will primarily be created in his home city of Liverpool and utilise a number of new collaborators, enabling the funding to go back into the city’s creative ecosystem.
