Gold Spectacles

Gold Spectacles (Amie & Robb) cut their teeth in Scandinavia writing camps alongside established artists including; Rou Reynolds (Enter Shakiri), Iselin (vocals on Alan Walker’s ‘Faded’), Audur (Sony Music) and Hanne Mjøen (Spinnin’ Records), Henrik Høven (daWorks). This resulted in cuts with NOËP ‘No Man Is An Island’ released via Warner Music/Humming Records, Maybon and Alida ‘Everything I Do’ released via Epic Oslo/Sony Music and Eva-Lina ‘U KINDA SUCK’.

In 2022, Gold Spectacles are aligning themselves within the emerging UK pop scene, their cut with 2020 Ivor Novello ‘Rising Star’ Mysie (produced by Fraser T Smith) called ‘Seven Nights’ has received support from Jack Saunders ‘Future Artists’ show and was also R1’s ‘Introducing Track of the Week’, it’s also had Spotify editorial adds including ‘New Music Friday’, ‘The Other List’, ‘Chilled Pop Hits’, ‘R&B UK’ + an upcoming sync on Netflix. In addition to this recent success with Mysie; Gold Spectacles have been working with Leicester-raised artist SOFY who was runner up in the recent BBC Introducing R1 Live Lounge competition with a demo of their co-write ‘Strawberry Milkshake’. Since the official release of ‘Strawberry Milkshake’, produced and mixed by Gold Spectacles, it has been R1 ‘Introducing Track of the Week’, played on Jack Saunders ‘Future Artists’ and added to Spotify’s ‘Fresh Finds’ and Apple Music’s ‘New in Alternative’. SOFY released her debut EP ‘Bored in Colour (Pt.1)’ in early 2022 which features 4 tracks co-written, produced and mixed by Gold Spectacles.
