Isaac Borquaye, more commonly known as Guvna B, is a three-time MOBO Award winning rapper, author and broadcaster from London.
His album, everywhere + nowhere (2020) was the UK’s highest charting non-explicit rap album that year and he has amassed over 30 million streams. His sophomore book Unspoken: Toxic Masculinity and How I Faced the Man Within the Man (2021) became an Amazon bestseller. As well as having three MOBO’s to his name, he also has three Urban Music Awards and a Gospel Music Award.
Guvna B is widely considered an influential and important voice within British rap music because of his inspiring and uplifting lyricism and his views on youth culture. He has appeared numerous times on television to discuss topics which affect young people from underprivileged communities.
