Holly Walker writes powerful, classically-influenced songs, with ‘wry, light-footed’ lyrics (The Times) and ‘sultry and intoxicating’ vocals (The Guardian). Known for her collaborations with Maribou State, with whom she has written and toured for the last few years, she has now made a solo album, produced by Mercury-nominated Jamie Woon. She wrote it at home on keys / synths, then worked with Jamie plus revered musicians Dave Okumu and Dan See, to create a record with a distinctly London sound. The PPL Momentum Fund will support videos and marketing for the first single releases.
