JAZZ RE:FEST 2023, Emerging Artist music release & JRF Weekly

Globally elevating, amplifying and spotlighting the breadth of expression in UK Jazz, while breaking down boundaries for culturally diverse audiences and low socio-economic groups to access the music, multifaceted Jazz re:freshed’s focus continues to be on supporting the journey of young, culturally diverse and female led emerging and mid-scale bands.

This year marks 20 years of Jazz re:freshed and our flagship event running since JRF’s inception, the weekly residency, puts a spotlight on often unknown, burgeoning young and culturally diverse talent. With our new home in London’s East end, the weekly has remained a night for industry to come down and take a peek. This night is also an opportunity for the artists to try new music to small but appreciative crowds, working on their audience engagement and rapport.

Our not for profit record label, exists to support career step changes with a first recorded music release whether EP or album. This enables artists to extend their reach and engage with a wider community of listeners and places a spotlight on them for the music business community to see. JAZZ RE:FEST 2023, 10th Edition will be a one-day celebration and showcase of emerging and established UK Jazz talent. The music creators we support are a great representation of what is exciting in UK Jazz at various stages in their careers and level of profile. #20YearsFresh.
