Soprano Juliet Fraser is developing two new solo shows for 2015/16. Voice(s) is a programme that uses tape and electronics to explore the multiple voices of a single performer. Designed with a flexible set-up for performance outside of the concert hall, repertoire includes a new work by Nicholas Peters and Morton Feldman’s tour-de-force, ‘Three Voices’. Palimpsests features composers Michael Finnissy and Bernhard Lang who reimagine the song cycle in new works for Juliet and pianist Mark Knoop.

Juliet specialises in the performance and creation of new classical music. She is co-founder and principal soprano of EXAUDI, and has appeared as a guest artist with London Sinfonietta, Plus Minus, We Spoke: New Music Company, BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra and Ensemble Intercontemporain. This grant supports the development of her practice as a solo artist and enables the creation of four new works for voice.
