Kings Place welcome back Liverpool-based ‘mallet guitars’ ensemble, following a support slot in the inaugural season of Luminate to present a new large-scale work in Hall One with their 16-piece ‘Electric Large Ensemble’.
Snapped Ankles: Apologies to the Trees
Rooted in environmental activism, this exciting new project is inspired by texts by George Monbiot, portraying the link between climate breakdown and mental health. A Hall One show will be accompanied by a new site-specific multimedia work along with log synth workshops.
GBSR: Fearless piano and percussion duo George Barton and Siwan Rhys AKA GBSR present a a programme concerned with identity in a technology-dominated world, featuring work by Oliver Sellwood, CHAINES, Joanna Bailie, Nicholas Moroz and Graham Fitkin.
Vessel: Passion Electronic composer and producer Vessel AKA Sebastian Gainsborough will expand his critically-acclaimed Queen of Golden Dogs album and present his new large-scale dramatic work, The Passion, with a 12 piece ensemble.
