Fiona Lee: Lynsey de Paul Prize Runner Up 2018

Fiona Lee is an emerging singer-songwriter from Yorkshire with a voice which belies her years. Her songs tell tales of teenage life with both innocent simplicity and an impressively mature observation. Having taught herself to play guitar, she discovered her true voice at a local acoustic night; since then she has been performing her songs at every public opportunity. Fiona has played a number of prestigious festivals including Humber Street Sesh, Cornucopia and Beverley Folk Festival, and is now gigging regularly around the north of England.
