Tipped as the next star of British hip-hop, the fluorescent Master Shortie spans the roles of grime MC, cool club kid and teen-friendly pop singer, with a dash of indie influence thrown in.

London-raised Theo Kerlin, aged 21, had a spell at the Brit School and has taken the DIY route by setting up his own label, Odd One Out.

Master Shortie played at the 2009 Wireless Festival on the 4th of July. In October 2009 he supported Lil Wayne at his three Hammersmith Apollo dates in London.

25 March 2010, Master shortie announced that he and his record label “Odd One Out” have signed to Hitz Committee, RCA (formerly Jive) and Sony.
