Matt Wilde: The Open Fund for Music Creators

Album Release & Tour

Matt Wilde is a Manchester-born keyboard player and producer whose music blends jazz-inspired keys, rich harmonies and pocketed drums. His music has been supported by BBC 6 Music, BBC Radio 2, Jazz FM and more, as well as a range of Spotify and Apple Music editorial. 2023 saw the release of Matt’s debut album ‘Hello World’ with Band on the Wall Recordings, centered around his lyrical, virtuosic and jazz-leaning keys. Matt is rapidly becoming one of the artists to look out for amongst the resurgence of jazz and hip hop influenced music in the UK.

Through the Open Fund for Music Creators grant, Matt will undertake a series of collaborations to write and record a new album, develop his creative practice and undertake his first tour as a solo artist.
