The Autonomy project

The Autonomy project helps committed, young, Liverpool-based creators write, record and release original music, gain music industry insight and build enduring music careers.

Reaping the fields of jazz, rap, soul and rock, The Autonomy project’s four emerging artists have shown exceptional creativity in adversity and are ready to share their talents with the world.

They are: Charlie Airey, Daniel Parker, DAYZY and Ni Maxine.

The Autonomy project is run by the Merseyside Youth Association’s Noise programme, creating positive and lasting change in the lives of young musicians for over twenty years.

If you’re looking to see if we’ve supported someone like you, working in your genre or region, or if you want to find out who we’ve supported through our different funding opportunities and partnership programmes, then please use the drop-down menu search tool.

If you have a specific artist, group, performer, promoter or organisation that you’re looking for, please use the ‘Search’ tool in the top right hand corner of this page. If we have supported them, this is the best way to find out about the support they’ve received from us.
