Borders & Crossings is a new opera in development, composed by Michael Henry, written by Inua Ellams and directed by Bijan Sheibani. Adapted from poems by Inua, it tells the story of young refugees seeking sanctuary in Europe and their journey from a Sudanese refugee camp, across north Africa and over the Mediterranean Sea.
