Combining elements of dream pop, shoegaze, R&B and post rock, Rev Magnetic is a four-piece from Glasgow. Featuring Luke Sutherland who has played with Long Fin Killie, Mogwai and Jomi Massage, Audrey Bizouerne (Gift Horse, Alex Rex) , Sam Leighton and Gregor Emond, the band released their debut album, Versus Universe, on Rock Action Records in the summer of 2019.
Opening for The Jesus and Mary Chain in three of the most well-loved venues in the UK (Glasgow Barrowlands, Manchester Albert Hall, London Roundhouse), is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. The Momentum fund award will allow the band to play these gigs at full strength and help them meet their aim of expanding their audience by delivering the best live show possible.
