Hailing from Bristol, Scalping are renowned for their mind-blowing live shows which combine muscular, cerebral techno drawing from punk, post-rock and industrial music with projected live animations loaded with grotesque, sci-fi imagery.
The Momentum fund will support SCALPING into their next phase as a band – helping cover costs for upcoming releases and giving financial freedom for many endeavours, including:
EP: The momentum fund will allow the band to work with producer Sean Oakley and finish their forthcoming release to an exceptional standard.
Merchandise: being able to buy stock in larger quantities ultimately means more profit for the band.
Covering costs from previous tours
Forthcoming Squarepusher tour: having this resource will mean the band can buy/hire auxiliary equipment for live shows e.g lights, projectors, 3D visual equipment, sound reinforcement.
Video promos: increasing budgets for promos for releases enabling the band to create higher quality work and realise creative concepts with greater ability by bringing in external crew and collaborators.
