Stanley Odd – Stay Odd – Singles and Album Campaign

Over the last ten years Stanley Odd have amassed a cult following for their unique brand of alternative hip-hop, releasing three critically acclaimed full-length albums.

They won the Scottish Music Awards’ Big Apple Award in 2013 and their second album, Reject, was shortlisted for Scottish Album of the Year. Third album, ‘A Thing Brand New’, was placed at No.2 in the Herald’s Best Scottish Albums of 2014, and single ‘It’s All Gone to F*ck’ was the Herald’s No.1 song of 2016.

They have been featured in publications such as the Sunday Herald, The List Magazine, The Skinny, Noisey, Wordplay Magazine, The Guardian, The National, Louder than War, Is This Music and The Scotsman, And had airplay on radio stations including BBC Radio One, BBC 6 Music, BBC Radio Scotland, Amazing Radio, RTE 2FM, ARD Germany, Canadian CBC and Chuck D’s And Ya Don’t Stop!

Touring and festival performances have seen them play stages at Celtic Connections, T in the Park, Belladrum and Greenbelt amongst many others. Their live show has taken them overseas, playing in the USA and Malawi.

With the support of the PPL Momentum Fund they’ll be releasing a single every 6 weeks from July 2020, with the brand new album – Stay Odd – released in February 2021.

Somebody once described them as Cerebral Geek Rap.

Another person said that in a sane world they’d be bigger than Snow Patrol.
