Zilo: Momentum
Zilo is an artist from London whose love of painting, poetry, and writing has evolved into music. In 2018, she kicked off her musical career with her debut project, “The Nature of the Beast”. Throughout the year she’s received support from publications such as Pigeons & Planes, Clash Magazine, The Fader, Notion, Earmilk, Revolt and more. Gaining momentum from her project, she sold out her two debut London shows in October 2018. To end the year Zilo’s project was selected as the #1 album of 2018 on BBC 1Xtra with Jamz Supernova.
Now that we have PRS Foundation’s support, she will be able to develop her music, map out visuals and expand into digital & physical marketing to promote the release on a much larger scale. She can stay independent and continue to tell meaningful stories that people can relate to.
