Showcase performance to launch new Album ‘Ellipsis’ by Nicki Wells

Singer, Songwriter and Composer Nicki Wells has performed in some of the world’s most prestigious venues from London’s Royal Albert Hall to the Sydney Opera House and Glastonbury’s main Pyramid Stage, collaborating with the likes of Nitin Sawhney, Eric Whitacre, Anoushka Shankar and Joss Stone. A Composer in her own right, Nicki has scored extensively for Contemporary Dance, Feature Films, Documentaries and Theatre Productions. Her now much anticipated self-produced album of original songs entitled ‘Ellipsis’ releases on the 18th August 2023 and promises to be her most raw and honest body of work yet.

The PRS Foundation are supporting the showcase performance to launch Nicki Wells’ new album ‘Ellipsis’. Entirely self-produced and made under the logistical constraints of the pandemic, this album for the first time reveals Nicki’s wealth and depth of work not only as a Singer-Songwriter but as a Producer, Arranger and Engineer too. The showcase of her new work promises to be a spell binding and captivating performance with a stella line up of world class musicians including a string quartet. The show will reveal the new music that Nicki has been carefully handcrafting these last few years. With full sincerity Nicki is incredibly grateful that the PRS Foundation are supporting this showcase on the 29th November 2023 at The St Matthias Church in London.
