Sound City, the UK’s leading independent festival and conference for new music, is returning for another whirlwind weekend of music in 2019.

Liverpool is renowned for its musical heritage and radiates an energy unlike any other city in the UK. Sound City captures the vibrancy of the city with the unforgettable 3 day festival that sees established names perform alongside a constant stream of local, national and international emerging talent. After hosting the electrifying event for 11 years, and in 3 different continents, this year’s festival will, again, be returning to its roots, packing in the eclectic concoction of music into a range of venues in Liverpool’s creative hub, The Baltic Triangle.

The spectacular festival which is filled with music, creative workshops and a renowned music industry conference; allows you to wander through the city streets on a sonic expedition, soaking up the cultural history that still lingers in the air, and discover your new favourite artists along the way.

Sound City+ conference will return to the British Music Experience in the astounding Cunard Building plus venues across Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle. Sound City+ will provide exclusive insights into the music industry with renowned speakers and in conversations plus opportunities to meet the music industry, share ideas and create new contacts across 3 memorable days.

Sound City 2019 will feature its most diverse lineup yet, including Mabel, Loyle Carner, Louis Berry, The Magic Gang with many more to be announced.
