Hull Jazz Festival 25th Anniversary Commissions: Stuart McCallum & Revenu

A festival of new music featuring commissions by Stuart McCallum and Revenu within Hull Jazz Festival‘s 25th anniversary in November.

We will support guitarist/composer Stuart McCallum and electronica DJ artist Revenu to create new work especially designed to explore their love affair with their instruments and the City of Hull. Stuart McCallum is established as one of the UK’s leading guitarist and composers working with Cinematic Orchestra 2004 – 2012. Revenu has been discovered by Giles Peterson‘s Future Bubblers in 2016 and has participated in the Basil Kirchin celebration weekend “Mind on the Run”.The commissions will headline the Hull Jazz Festival 25th anniversary edition involving a diversity of artists working in new music including GoGo Penguin, Pat Metheny, Nu Civilisation Orchestra, Andy Sheppard and Arun Ghosh.
