Kitt Philippa: The Open Fund for Music Creators

For:

The creation, release and promotion of an audiovisual single

Find out more by visiting:

Kitt Philippa searches for the grace, and the luminous, in words met with music. Although raised on classical, the songs are strangely urban and often conveyed with digital sleight. An organ scholar and an experimentalist, KP plays piano, guitar, clarinet, prayer bowl and bicycle wheel.

KP is at a pivotal stage and has, in the last 12-months, self funded the recording and mixing of a debut LP project, collaborated with the Ulster Orchestra on a number of recordings, earned a live booking agent via Pitch & Smith and has been championed by BBC Radio 6 Music, BBC Radio One and BBC Radio 3.

Support from ‘The Open Fund’ will allow KP to complete the LP project, generate and market audiovisual content and help the music to travel and reach wider audiences across new media outlets and new regions.
