The Visit – a bespoke Showcase of 21 Scottish artists
The Visit is delivered by Showcase Scotland Expo, the Scottish Export office for folk, roots and trad music. Traditionally it has had huge success with an ROI for showcasing artists of 349%.
In 2023 32 delegates from the US and Canada will see 21 of the best Scottish artists showcasing in Perth and Peebles. Moving territories each year in 2022 the event was delivered for Germany and Northern Europe and in 2024 will be delivered for the British Isles.
The event has been described as life changing for artists, with agency deals, festival appearances and publishing deals all being achieved.
