Silver Waves – LP Production & Release

Silver Waves is the project of Dylan Mallett, an experimental musician and producer based in Bristol, UK. Originally established as an outlet to explore abstracted narratives and sounds derived from the unconventional use of traditional instrumentation, the presentation of unrestrained emotion delivered through obscure sonics remains a common theme throughout much of Silver Waves’ music.

Engaging in a variety of disciplines through which to express their creative vision, Silver Waves has collaborated with forward-thinking artists such as Klein, Elvin Brandhi and EP/64, performed live shows in club-spaces, galleries and festivals across the UK & Europe, created soundtracks for art pieces and video-games, and worked on studio releases from a breadth of independent musicians within Bristol’s thriving experimental scene.

With their released music surfacing on labels including Portals Editions, Illegal Data and Howling Owl Records, PRS Foundation’s Open Fund will support Silver Waves with the creation of their debut full-length LP, scheduled for release in 2022.
