Supporting New Music – Sounds of Southampton Volume 3
SoCo Music Project and SO Movement are supporting the freshest new talent in Southampton through the Sounds of Southampton Volume 3. The previous two volumes have supported more than 40 artists to write, record and release their music, showcasing the best in Rap, R&B, Hip Hop and Grime that the City has to offer. We are excited to be continuing this important work, so much more than an album release, we are providing tailored support to 24 emerging artists from Southampton and surrounding areas, helping them create, develop and release new music, raise their profile and provide them with advice and support to help them in their music careers. Through this programme we will also help new industry specialists gain skills and experience in artist support and promotion, strengthening the region’s music ecosystem.
