Alice Jemima: International Showcase Fund (SXSW)

Already being tipped as one to watch by The 405 and with 2 singles featuring in Amazing Radio’s ‘Best Tracks of 2016’ list alongside Shura, Spring Kings & Glass Animals,  Alice Jemima is set to release her debut self titled album on March 3rd 2017.

Jemima’s debut ‘Liquorice’ EP was released back in June to a receptive audience, with the lead track ‘Liquorice’ being selected by Radio 1’s Huw Stephens as his Tip Of The Week and John Kennedy’s X-Posure Big One on Radio-X. Her subsequent single release ‘Dodged a Bullet’ was play listed at Radio 1 and currently stands at over 1.9 million Spotify streams.

Jemima’s initial breakthrough arrived in 2014 when her sultry cover of Blackstreet’s No Diggity suddenly blazed its way to nearly 3 million plays prompting multiple label offers and a subsequent label deal with Sunday Best.

With a recent Ladyhawke tour support under her belt, as well as performing live on the Radio 1 BBC Introducing Stage at their summer Big Weekend live show in Devon, you can now catch Jemima’s enchanting live set on her first headline tour at the following dates in 2017 which also include a SXSW performance in Austin, Texas.
