Warmduscher: International Showcase Fund (SXSW)

Warmduscher is the offspring of South London’s infamous Paranoid London, Fat White Family, and Childhood and features Clams Baker Jr (vocals), Lightnin’ Jack Everett (drums), Mr. Salt Fingers Lovecraft (bass), Quicksand (guitar), and The Witherer aka Little Whiskers (noise).

Clash (magazine) called the group “the sleaziest, most debauched, and downright addictive experiences in London’s guitar underground right now,”

Warmduscher are planning on spreading their calamitous live show to all four corners of the world. Complete with various on and offstage shenanigans, heavy doses of audience participation and the apparent incitement of a riot (see End of the Road festival earlier this year), Warmduscher are hotly-tipped as one of the most unpredictable and exciting acts around at the moment.

Warmduscher’s second album, Whale City, was released on The Leaf – a rock opera of gigantic proportions and are busy with their third album due next year. With the help of the PRS Foundation Grant, Warmduscher plan to utilize this opportunity to invade the USA next year, making a first landing in Austin, Texas and continuing the sonic assault from there on out.
