Sneaky Petes is a busy award-winning gig and club venue known as “the home of new and exciting music in Edinburgh”. Hosting excellent UK and International touring acts, and the best local musicians, all exclusively playing original material, across a wide variety of genres.
Sneaky Petes is a renowned intimate Grassroots Music Venue, open every night hosting an enormous array of new and exciting live and DJ shows in Edinburgh.
Developing talent by hosting and promoting shows to the highest standard in 3 strands: electronic and experimental; regional acts; UK touring acts. Echoing their very successful 2019 programme, which provided many performance opportunities, Sneaky Petes will support musicians working in, but not limited to, Electronic and Experimental Music, Alternative and Indie, and Singer/Songwriter genres. They will host many emerging touring acts and local musicians, and also world-class niche British artists for whom the intimate 100 capacity is ideal. Taking particular pride in showcasing the best Scottish acts, as well as many artists from further afield, Sneaky Petes is a home for excellence whether or not the artist has yet gained widespread recognition, and so spotting and developing talent is the raison d’être.
This year’s been extraordinarily tough for live music venues but being part of a network of organisations committed to talent development has helped us see our way to the end goal: getting back to live shows.’
