Horsham Symphony Orchestra – Adriano Adewale: The Open Fund for Organisations
Horsham Symphony Orchestra is very excited to be able to continue it’s relationship with renowned World Music percussionist Adriano Adewale. This is Adriano’s first full-length work for orchestra, and follows the success of “Suite Dialogues”, premiered by HSO and broadcast on BBC Radio 3 as part of Making Music’s “Adopt a Composer” scheme. HSO has been commissioning new music for almost all of its 50-year existence, and this is certainly the largest and most exciting project we have undertaken.
Following the World Premiere on June 29 with HSO, we have managed to schedule at least 2 other performances for Adriano with other orchestras. Adriano Adewale is an extraordinary musician and a wonderful friend to the orchestra, and we are hugely excited to work with him again. Expect an exciting meeting of two very different musical worlds!
