Omnii: The Open Fund for Organisations

Omnii is a growing London-based collective, aiming to inspire and encourage womxn and non-binary sound enthusiasts to operate in all technical areas of music. We are working to demystify music technology and to encourage more diversity and accessibility into the music industry regardless of gender, ability, experience, class, race or age. We will run free beginners workshops in sound engineering and music production that dive deep into live sound engineering and studio recording, with workshops from professional engineers and producers. Attendees will gain confidence across all technical areas of music, and leave with the tools to be able to record, run their own small gigs, and seek further experience in the industry. The workshop programme will culminate in a showcase celebration, giving participants an opportunity to perform or manage the technical side of the event.

We encourage participants to join the Omnii communities network of sound enthusiasts – providing support, encouraging collaboration, and providing opportunities to share work via our social channels and our online feature series. Our free educational zine and other free resources provide further technical guidance for those who seek it.

If you’re looking to see if we’ve supported someone like you, working in your genre or region, or if you want to find out who we’ve supported through our different funding opportunities and partnership programmes, then please use the drop-down menu search tool.

If you have a specific artist, group, performer, promoter or organisation that you’re looking for, please use the ‘Search’ tool in the top right hand corner of this page. If we have supported them, this is the best way to find out about the support they’ve received from us.
