Travis Beckford: Power Up Industry Professional

“I have 8 years+ of professional experience within the music and entertainment industries. Mainly focusing on A&R, management, events and visuals. I’ve created my own platform called THEFUTUREIS which provides a space for music industry professionals to share their journey and give some valuable gems to the next generation of creatives and executives. We also pride ourselves with selecting fresh talent to perform on the evening.

We have collaborated with Boxpark, The Royal Albert Hall, TikTok, Abbey Road Studios, Soho House, TAPE London and had articles written in British GQ, Complex, Mixtape Madness and more. My past has been a mixture of A&R’ing at major record labels such as Polydor and Epic but i’ve used the skills I’ve developed in these establishments to focus on A&R’ing independently with partnerships at The Church Studios. I put together camps with up to 60 creatives and had the likes of 2Tone, Warners, Motown and Stella Songs all take part in what I’ve created.”
