William Harrison, Composer of an Electrifying New Musical

William Harrison’s work is emotive, cinematic, atmospheric, and transports listeners to different worlds. In 2018, Will’s solo neo-classical piano concert Underground Movement played to a sold out audience at Crazy Coqs, Soho and is in development. Their work has been viewed globally, as director/composer for the short film The Regular Everyday, which won Best Film at BFI Scene Festival. Will composed Chalk Line Theatre’s award winning play Testament, which garnered 5 star reviews, and toured as part of Incoming Festival 2019. Other credits include composition for Alchemist Theatre Company’s play Tunnel 57.

Tokyo Rose is an electrifying new musical based on a true story, set in America and Japan spanning the 1940s. This will be Will’s first two act, sung-through musical. and will allow them to explore genres such as Japanese Traditional and Taikon Percussion and they will work with the lyricists to incorporate Japanese lyrics into the composition, a new experience for Will. Tokyo Rose will go on tour this Autumn to 6 different prestigious venues, which will help raise Will’s profile as a composer. They can use this opportunity to build long term relationships with audiences and industry professionals interested in the weighty topics that they address, with attitude-shifting impact.
