"Awake Tonight" EP Campaign & Launch Show - Bad Honey

Having met whilst studying music, Lydia Clowes (vocals) and Teresa Origone (keyboard) came together in London as a duo and created the sleepy lullabies and soulful sounds of Bad Honey. Their sound is a delicate and dreamy combination of pure sounding vocals, catchy synths and bouncing beats.

In 2018 Bad Honey spent four days at Family Day Recordings on the small Norwegian island Søndre Sandøy in a cosy cabin, creating their first EP ‘Better in Time’ in between walks in the forest and dips in the icy cold sea.

In 2019 the duo released two stand alone singles with Grammy Award winning producer and engineer Guy Massey in London, and worked on their forthcoming self-produced EP “Awake Tonight” which is set for release in early 2020.

The duo’s music so far has received a positive response with radio plays from BBC Introducing London, BBC Radio 6, BBC 1Xtra, Worldwide FM, Amazing Radio and support from Spotify’s New Music Friday playlists in over 5 countries.

As well as selling out three self-organised release shows so far, the duo have performed at The Roundhouse, Village Underground, OMEARA and The Jazz Café as well as festivals such as Cheltenham Jazz Festival, Love Supreme and Brainchild, and have supported the likes of Little Simz, Gogo Penguin, Mamas Gun and Soweto Kinch.
