Young Thugs: The Open Fund for Organisations
Out of The Blocks is an early career incubation project developing talent in the North built around the Young Thugs recording studio and an opportunity for music creators to receive direct one-to-one support which will help launch themselves as creative professionals.
We feel passionate about creating the right environment to help creators thrive and survive in an ever changing music industry. Our on-hand mentors will guide each creator helping them map out a strategic plan of action and set goals which they can aim towards with our guidance.
Throughout this project each creator will be given the opportunity to push their skills in song writing, arrangement, production, and performance as well as look at how to capture their music visually through photography, design and leading onto their own release. Each creator will meet new industry professionals within and outside of our studio having the opportunity to speak virtually with guest mentors and other industry professionals along the way.
We believe now more that ever, it is important to empower new creators to learn the many facets of being an independent and creative artist. We will help the creators understand and take control of their artistry and how it is managed in order to come out of the blocks with strength and confidence.
